| Waterpolo is a major part of my life both coaching and playing. This site links to various waterpolo sites and talks a little bit about each. I have been playing water polo since I was 11 years old or so. I began playing in Eugene, Oregon for Eugene City. In high school I helped to organize the water polo team at Marist High School and helped to get that started with my dad as coach. I played division I water polo at Loyola Marymount University where I walked on in my second year. I was an academic all-american for three years while there. I also played for two years in graduate school for the University of Utah where I have been player coach for the last two years and am currently the coach of the men's team. Last year we were ranked as high as 17th in the nation and I hope to improve upon that ranking this year. I also am an assistant coach at Kearns High School and have been for 5 years now. Kearns is consistently one of the top programs in the state of Utah. In addition I am the head development team coach for the mountain zone.
In addition to playing and coaching water polo, I have been involved in various administrative tasks as well. I am the athlete representative for USA water polo for the mountain zone. I also created and maintain the mountain zone web site and am currently starting up the university of utah men's polo site.
